New Publication: "Financial Cultures and Crisis Dynamics"

Financial Cultures and Crisis Dynamics
Edited by Bob Jessop, Brigitte Young, Christoph Scherrer

The recent financial crisis exposed both a naïve faith in mathematical models to manage risk and a crude culture of greed that embraces risk. It uses different methods to explore these cultures and their interaction with different financial orders to improve our understanding of financial crisis dynamics.

With Ceta and especially TTIP, this machinery could become significantly more buoyant. According to Scherrer, arbitration has increased dramatically since the year 2000. By the end of 2012, there were 500 cases worldwide". - http://www.fr-online.de/wirtschaft/ceta-und-ttip-freihandelsabkommen-ceta-bestaetigt-kritiker,1472780,28207512.html
